I’m an NHS midwife turned online business owner, co-founder of One Wild Life and mum to my daughter, Emilia.

For years, I worked long shifts in high-pressure environments. I cared about my job, but I was exhausted. Mentally drained. Carrying responsibility that far outweighed the pay, the flexibility, or the control I had over my own time.

I kept telling myself it was just a season. That this was normal. That this was what security looked like.

But deep down, I knew if I didn’t change something, this would simply be my life. Rotas. Shifts. Burnout dressed up as stability.

A few years ago, I came across an Instagram advert that introduced me to the world of high-ticket affiliate marketing. I wasn’t looking for a quick win or a side hustle. I was looking for ownership. A model that allowed me to build income in a way that didn’t depend on trading every hour of my time.

I started with no background in marketing. No business degree and no idea how to run a social media. Just a willingness to learn and the decision not to stay stuck.

Today, I run a high-ticket online business that generates consistent five-figure months. But more importantly, it gives me control. Control over my time, my income and the direction my life is heading. I build around my family rather than a shift pattern. I prioritise my health instead of recovering from constant stress. I’m building something long-term, stable and accumulative.

Now I mentor a small number of people each month who feel that same internal pull for more. Many are shift workers. Many are mothers. Many are simply tired of building someone else’s version of security.
